Mission: Lead ambulatory transformation in the MGH/MGPO within the Mass General Brigham enterprise and throughout our greater ambulatory community.

The Project Managers in PPM liaise with ambulatory practices to guide project work in support of ambulatory transformation and process improvement, including strategy and workflow development, change management, communication planning and accountability oversight.

Currently active projects cover work in the areas of:

  • Automated call distribution
  • Scheduling and access optimization
  • Creation and maintenance of decision trees and templates
  • Order-based patient self-scheduling
  • eCheck-in
  • Texting initiatives
  • Emergency management and downtime preparation
  • Reduction of unscheduled radiology orders
